Im more afraid of changes and additions actually, Tsukihime is way more atmospheric than Fate and if Nasu starts inserting that Extraverse & FGO era in-your-face obnoxious humor into the script he might break that atmosphere. The stories Nasu has been telling most of this decade are also way more bombastic than what Tsukihime has any need to be, so theres also some scepticism on my part if modern nasu is compatible with old nasu. I dont mind changes or additional story at all, on the contrary I welcome fresh tsuki content with open arms, but i just hope whatever changes he makes still feel like Tsukihime.

Also some of my all time favorite TM music pieces are the Tsuki title track and the Tsuki eroscene track, and while the iconic af title track is obviously safe im worried about the eroscene track will be completely scrapped since the remake wont have eroscenes.

    Backgrounds, character sprites and CGs.
Not just their quality but I'd like a more frequent use of them.

There are many stretches of the original VN where it is just a blurry background with a ton of text and no visual elements to go along with it.

Tsukihime is a great story but it doesn't take much advantage of the medium it's in.
Those backgrounds are real photos they just manipulated to look less obviously real. They were making the game from home with the budget of Takeuchis sold Eva DVDs. The main selling point of the remake is updating of the presentation to a modern commercial product standards, so you will definitely be getting your wish.

    So yeah, Burial Agency.

I hope they do it the other way in that regard, like the original Realta Nua. Original F/sn had ero, ports didn't until the re-release for PC. Is this too much of wishful thinking? I want to buy the first release that will come with extras, probably.

That reminds me, did the port of hollow for vita have ero?

No. Platforms other than PC do not allow explicit pornography.

iirc the only consoles that allowed to have R18 games were Sega and PC-Engine.

I feel you, i feel you so bad. But I fear TM is too big for ero these days. Making a R18 PC game would be too much of a bottleneck i think. They have plenty of young or ”normie” fans. And Nasu does have history of compromising for bigger audience... except when he decided that Mahoyo should be unvoiced for artistic reasons.

Which reminds me, please for the love of god Nasu, let TsukiRime be voiced!!! No more artistic funny business. At least voices shouldnt be a problem for ero if we go by Melty since almost all VAs of the main heroines have eroge past, with Akihas being a freaking eroge legend with hundreds of roles. Only Hisuis VA (rip) was uninvolved in ero as far as i know.

Yikes. Didn't the character arts from years ago already have about half a dozen expressions?

Well, people remember that Merem post about seeing a supposed TsukiRe on Fate 15th exhibition right?

Well, if you search the kanji and kana of "tsukihime remake" you will se that at least from the last 12h there are a lot of japanese tweets following the same pattern: Saying that the person went to the event and comenting about tsukihime remake with emojis or some comment ambigous.

Well, I went and did the search again, when I got to work early and found this:

    https://twitter.com/KaroshiMyriad/st...25072977604610

This all still means nothing but anecdotal evidence I would say.

EDIT: Ninjed by crown lol well at least the info about the various japanese tweets is something to add.

The fact I still get excited about this when there's literally anything new in this thread amazes me. But I like that.

Almost 20 CGs of Arc alone, and probably mostly unspoilery stuff, thats quite a lot.

Been wondering if they gonna dial down from mahoyos ridonkulous visuals since Tsuki is quite a bit longer, but this does seem to imply its gonna be pretty ambitious.

This blog post was made recently about the museum and it has a part about Tsukihime Remake which has more info about it.

    https://www.famitsu.com/news/202001/22191158.html

    Spoiler:
I got a little confused with the おそらく because it is a word related to probability (maybe, perhaps, seems likely) and some of its variations can mean something that is unprobable and problable likewise, but I think it has a more proper meaning related to the "seems likely". I assume the poster doesn't know very much about Tsukihime (which is actually not surprising) and saw something that he thinks that is Tsukihime related, but he could be wrong.

Nevertheless the additional info here is 会話シーンと思われる内容のスクリプト作業画面 which means that he saw a script related to a conversation scene. I don't know what he means by that, but this is neither a CG or sprite. Might be the text on screen or maybe a rough script.

Anyway, the important thing about it is this also serves as an additional witness and although he spoke the same things, he was more open than usual. All things I read was very cryptic like they were worried of revealing something they shouldn't, but this was a famitsu blog post, so either the poster is dumb (which I wouldn't be surprised) or it is already allowed to talk more about the material, which could indicate that a more public show of this material will be allowed soon.

Either way, may us always have low expectations and our life shall be the happiest.

I think it is unlikely. Nasu said initially he wanted to make UBW ending, FGO plot ending and Tsukihime Remake releasing happening in sync for some reason. This means Nasu has a plan in which the Remake has at least a relevant position regarding the FGO project. This couldn't happen because the story changed and therefore the plan changed.

That is, Tsukihime Remake most probably won't happen until Cosmos in the Lostbelt finishes.

And we all know (or at least those who are following FGO) that things doesn't seem to be progressing nicely at our mobile department. The most realistic scenario IMO is having LB6 at somewhat near the end of the year and unless you people think LB6 will have Tsukihime related things, than this year will most likely have nothing besides some promo (which is something that might not happen as well).
