One thing I noticed in Ciel's designs in Tsukihime were the bangs.

And so I thought "Well, maybe Ciel's hair is too anime - like to be included as part of the design, so they opted more for a more natural look of what the bangs will actually look like in real life."

Rin has the same M shape bangs and they never tried changing her. Sacchin also kept them for remake. i think its just that Takeuchi considers old Ciels overall hairstyle unattractive and went for a complete overhaul to make her more girly. But I personally think he shouldve kept the general idea of Ciels hairstyle while editing her.

With 3 of them having bangs, one of them has to change.

Satsuki Yumizuka, since they did not change you drastically, you're now an official heroine.

Maybe they thoughr her old hairdo looked to much like Lancer and they just wanted to avoid jokes about dying all the time.

Practically shouldn't it still be in TM's court? At best just more pressure for it to happen.

I think the two projects they're translating are new release VNs though. Not old back catalog at all.

Aniplex.exe is a project to team up with various VN devs to make their own VNs with chinese and english market also being targeteted. I dont think they’re gonna be translating VNs that arent produced under the aniplex.exe brand. I mean its not impossible, but im not counting on it.
