Lol, that's hilarious because I translated 魔法戦士 as Arcane Warrior while thinking of Dragon Age.
I was just thinking that the difference between race and changetype is probably similar to the difference between species and metatype in Shadowrun where you have a bunch of very different strains of humanoid that all derived from normal modern humans due to a series of strange magical events (metatype) and then the really crazy stuff like shapeshifters and pixies and such (species).
