The connection thing also isn't perfect even when people live close. I once tried agaisnt Ruka (who lives in the same country as me), and while we connected, it was so laggy we couldn't play at all.

Also your ping was quite high, 180~200ms for someone who lives near, I get better ping from someone from the U.S...did you forget to punch your imouto when we played?
My connection may not be the fastest, but I'm the subject of envy from almost all my friends whenever they use the net in my house.
Hey, but most of the time it played in real time. Only sometimes it lagged and only once, for a few seconds even, it was GODDAMMIT-LAG-I-CAN'T-PLAY.
Yeah it's just strange that the latency was high... I get better connection to someone in SP or eua, it's just weird, you sure you don't share your internet or something?

I get delay 1 with players from my country (as long as they don't use wifi/shared net)
I would like to enter but things would have to be stepped up a notch.
Decide on a time and date and have all participants gather on IRC, or Hamachi if you want to be kind to the technologically challenged ones. Should you decide on Hamachi, i happen to have a 255 man server available which I'm sure is preferable to the regular 5 people limited ones.

Just use a cable, make sure no other computers are connected to the router/modem and don't run other stuff that requires internet, then do a ping check in command prompt (something like "ping google.com -n 30" is popular). If it's still shit then contact your ISP and tell them to fix it.
also having screen animation, char filter and stage animation off helps with netplay.
But this looks kind of abandoned.
