Today I had a nurse and a tech try to get me to break into a patient’s room who had barricaded the door. Said patient was probably a good 250 pounds of muscle and paranoid specifically about me coming to kill him

lets review. This patient is very much under the belief that he needs to do whatever possible to protect himself from me specifically

and they want me to break into the room he barricaded to keep me out.

what could possiblay go wrong?!

Are you fucking kidding me? If I broke into the room he would have killed me. And I don’t mean that metaphorically. A much stronger man, with enough panic fueled adrenaline coursing through his veins to wake up a coma victim would have come at me with intent to kill due to his incorrect but sincere belief that in doing so he would be saving his own life.

i speak with complete sincerity when I say it’s pretty likely he would have killed me.

no I turned around, told them to call the code to get more staff to open the door, then began lightly pushing on the door and jiggling the key so he would spend his time bodily holding it shut and not improvising some way to hurt himself.

Of course I was kidding, even I'm not that stupid. Though I must say that I'm confused as to why you had to tell them to do what they should have done in the first place.
