So a sudden snowstorm took out my power last tues night. Entire town had a snow day (we never get snow so lots of downed trees & no power everywhere.) But I'm alive. Thanks for the visir snow! Made 16 snowbunnies, 1 heart, & 1 ghetto snowman.

Going by the above and on other sites, Texas where Funimation is based is an "at-will" state, which means employers don't need criminal/civil cases and can fire people for any reason. Whether Vic had this in his contract is unknown, but I wouldn't bet against him being protected in this case.

Of course, if you're not interested in being honest about this then why bother posting anything?

Pardon me, but I was not familiar with the Texan labor code. Now, if Texan employers can fire people for any reason, that's

1. Completely horrific.

2. Pointless, but not something I can argue with.

TL;DR If your contract/jurisdiction laws say you're on god's good humor, then it's all fine and dandy to sack someone for using an ugly tie. Otherwise, you've just shat all over the due process!
