Cooking is all the tedium of gardening, but with less dirt and more salmonella.
And that's why the most I will do to make food for myself is scramble a few sorts of cheese and some butter and mayo into a sandwich.
The rest of the time it's tea and coffee.

If so, ha! I have been getting breakfast - i.e. coffee - regularly each morning.

Presumably because it's engaging with a mythos that is part of cultural consciousness rather than trying to create a world in which to do your own similar to but different than stuff in a way that feels cheap. Honestly, that is why I decided that I actually preferred writing fanfiction even if it meant I would never write for profit. Engaging with the thing that sort of feels independent of me when I read and love a story is why I want to tell or make stories.
Imagine that the world is made out of love. Now imagine that it isn’t.
Imagine a story where everything goes wrong, where everyone has their back against the wall, where everyone is in pain and acting selfishly because if they don’t, they’ll die.
Imagine a story, not of good against evil, but of need against need against need, where everyone is at cross-purposes and everyone is to blame.
