Hmm talking about university debating whether I should go for a science degree rather than maths. I mean maths is my best subject but university maths is very different apparently.

Maths, natural sciences (physics, chemistry, material sciences or astrophysics would be the ones I would be likely to specialize in), engineering, computer science, which do I go for.
If you're thinking of eating a well done steak, save money and just go straight for coprophagia.
I'd say to go for the courses that help you in what you want to as a career, rather than what you are good at already. A math degree won't do you nay good if you wnat to become a biologist, and vice versa.
