Look, picture an island where super uptight mormons live in apartments but then modern Americanized youths also live in apartments on that same island. They generally avoid each other due to anti sedition laws and disrespect each other in private.

The latter group evolved only recently in light of exposure to the internet. Up until the internet the interaction with expatriates (i.e western culture) has never been enough to tip the balance. Which means you have decades upon decades of moronic sterility expectations to work through on a regular basis. That's Singapore.

I have friends on both ends of this fiasco so half the time I'm getting conflicting input. It doesn't help that neither side is particularly rational about their beliefs either.

I.. actually never considered this before.

The earliest and most consistent advice I was given with regards to women was always 'find a nice girl, no diseases, no bad girls'.

There never was any favorable position shed in light of tho-premaritally sexually active women over chaste ones
