so, I’m leading a group with 6 patients. As often happens when you have about this number, the patients arranged themselves in kind of a half moon shape around me. About ten minutes into group, I notice that the elderly gentleman directly across from me has a hole in his shorts.

as a result, his balls were kinda hanging out. Now folks, they aren’t on the chair, otherwise I would have had to act immediately for hygiene concerns, they are just...dangling.
so for the next ten odd minutes, I’m tying to lead group while inwardly rrying to figure out how to tell him to put his junk up, cause I don’t want to embarrass the guy. Luckily after a while he sat up slightly and they sucked back inside.
now folks I told you that story so I could tell you this one. Because after group one of my fellow therapists idly asked me how group went

Though the reason I had to explain it was because the other therapist was understandably curious when two seconds after saying that I collapsed across my desk laughing hysterically.
frankly im amazed I was able to keep a straight face for that long
I get my stuff shipped to my house by UPS with no problem, I have no idea how well Fedex ships in comparison.

Gearing up for another petty, interminable e-mail quibble with my college administrators. It's guaranteed to provide 100 percent of my daily requirement of irritation, and will probably make a nice addition to my collection of lifelong disproportionately furious grudges that I keep on a shelf and take out when I feel like being pissed off over something of little consequence.
