72 hours for some, runs out to about 4 weeks for the rest of it.
TBF most of the scariest stuff falls into that 72 hour bracket. this actually isnt the first time this kind thing has happened, but it’s one of those “never really gets less scary” kinda deals. I’ll get a round of blood drawn next time I’m off.

The answer to that question, and similarly with social workers/ social service workers, is often very personal in nature and involves some kind of journey or another towards that particular path.
of course, as with any field you have the people who just decided it was a thing that interested them
but more commonly I find that many of them have some kind of Story about how they got into it

I don't mean to sound insensitive or ignorant, but shouldn't patients who present a risk to others (and maybe also themselves) be restrained in some way?
Hell no. The absolute best you can do as far as seclusion goes is you can put them in the quiet room for 4 hours. Then you have to take them out and let them attack someone before they can be put back in.
there is always booty juice but the problem with Thorazine is the body builds up a tolerance. Someone who has been in and out of hospitals for twenty years and has a good history of inter muscular medications usually learns to shake it off pretty well
