Awkward moment at work yesterday

Our general manager comes up to my team's pod while we're all there, and tells us that she wants to take us out to lunch and catch up. She says she knows one of the girls is on leave next week, so we'll have to find a time after that.

My team point out I'm on leave the week after that

"Oh well [Saiga] misses out then" we laugh, but it turns out she was serious and she locks in the week I'm away
