Massive tab opening is never a habit I've formed. My browser isn't even set to save tabs so whatever I have open just gets lost every day anyway.

My hard and fast rule is to close any tab I've not looked at for 24 hours.

I have around 15 open most of the time.

The One True Tab is Twitter, which you look at, see no interesting tweets, close, then immediately open again two seconds later, because, hey, there could be a new tweet.

Like, I have 2-4 tabs open daily. This forum, YouTube, whatever wiki for the games I play, and then the 4th for checking twitter stuff or occasionally looking up Discord messages briefly.

There's not much going on for me to have many tabs open at once, unless it's just mass amounts of fanart opened to quickly save then close.

i'm not just talking about tabs, i'm talking about the laborious task of it starting up spotify and discord and utorrent etc and so on
