I'm gonna do a really frosty response and say that it's pretty easy to assume that thinking younger girls are the prettiest comes from younger women being superior for childbirth, and at the end of the day a lot of physical attraction is determined by traits that uhh

Are indicators of being good for birthing children

And youth is one of those indicators

Older men wanting younger women is a pretty mainstream fetish, since men are kind of hardwired to think younger women are more attractive
