Well, I got him to rep 15 without abusing shove on block, so I'll live

one of my favourites tho, so seeing the 'rework' like this hurts me too

Shove on block made light spammers easymode, but I honestly don't see what was so broken about it. Sure, it wasn't fun to fight a turtling lawbringer, but it's not like there's a hundred tools to break that. As for Long Arm, I've never actually seen it land in anything BUT duel, tbh.

Supposedly the developers are trying to get rid of the turtle/defense meta
and it honestly was just not fun to play against, or to use so I'm fine with it being gone

there's just nothing really great for his offense now anyway, so he didnt really improve

It's like you said, he went from passable defense and no offense to shit in both offense AND defense. But no- new players can Ad Mortem more often now... whee. Meanhile Raider just ripped Peacekeeper's kit and stuck it to his axe.

What'd they change about the rewards system?

you now get rewards based on play time

which actually means that, unless you somehow play the max time limit on matches, you lose out on the normal steel/xp/loot gain
so now, lets say you stomp someone (or get stomped) in duel, first you received 26 steel, now you'll get

8 steel

this is true for every game mode, so the usual 50 from dominion usually comes down to 25-30+
breach and arcade are relatively okay, but grinding steel and xp are essentially doubled or worse, and the system was already a bit too grind-y to begin with

Yikes. I guess they're really pushing doing your daily Orders and GTFO'ing instead. Hopefully they'll buff their rewards to compensate.
Although that does mean you can't rep any one specific character that much since you'll have to use different ones to complete the orders.
