I really want to disagree, but then I see Sun run up the stairs at the docks, and is almost visibly not touching the ground. I mean, I still find the story enjoyable and a bunch of the gags are still funny. Yang putting on those Aviators, Landing Strategy meme (I can't decide whether they killed it or not), that board game... I can see why the stretchy arms could be hard to take seriously, but at the same time, I found that the Nuckelavee's twitching and the accompanying bone-snapping noises made up for those pretty well. And the screaming. That was freaky.

Heh, back then I thought RT was a small amateurish op and so it was an ambitious gaijin attempt at an anime thing. I think I rated it as Saturday morning cartoon quality.
