Adam is such a manchild.
I like how Hazel is like, "Nobody had to die today." I thought that was kind of odd.
Spoiler:
Don't really think it was odd, but that scene clearly established Hazel as the most moral of Salem's little team. Since Tyrian is a psychotic killer, Watt is probably a sociopath and Cinder is... well, Cinder. It does raise the question of why he works with them at all since he's clearly not gung-ho about murder like the rest, but obviously his backstory and the like will be revealed later on.
Whoo episode 4
Now das my ship and its so sweet.
Ozpin is the Avatar.
Ruby: But, uh, we already know how to fight.
Ruby, you tried to 4v1 a guy and lost. You all need help.
Spoiler:
True. They could be much better, though I'm willing to give the psycho some credit in terms of fighting skill.
Yet the burden shall be shared by two entwined, from which the sword will part from the body and be bestowed upon the vassal to sacrifice themselves and cleave through space and time.
Mark upon this unworthy flesh the emblem of the sacrifice, the vassal whose death shall bring forth victory through the fields of steel and blood!
The oath is laid here. We are the ones who represent all the good within the pure lands, and we are the ones who judge what is evil within the pure lands. Thou, Seven Heavens clad in three mere words of unequal power, shall emerge from the spiral of control, O keeper of the balance!
Short episode this time, but that's expected. Didn't think that pace could continue, especially with RT busy with Extra Life last and this weekend.
Animation continues to improve imo, but there's still too many jarring points of stalled animation. For example, when they transition from an action by a character to another character's face, usually almost a second of dead air. Fine when it's sparingly done, but it's always been a constant thorn in the RT design with RWBY.
Loved the scene at the bandit camp though, most specifically with the last few seconds. Well done in tone and execution. Heartwarming and felt realistic.

Yeah, I was hoping they were all going to be at least close to 20 minutes. It was still a nice episode even though it was shorter.
Spoiler:
I think chapter 4 is one of my favorites now. The animation, music, and dialogues were on point. And that ending actually got me in the feels...
Also, the semblance explanation part kinda reminded me of Hero Academia for some reason :P
Qrow was fighting Tyrian who irrc basically ran circles around RNJR. There's clearly a gap in fighting ability.
tagging this, thought about vol.5 ep.5

So all of Qrow's contacts in Haven are dead/missing. Haven's probably going to fall just like Beacon.

I wonder what made Raven fall in love with Tai? Or she could just be using him or something.
