Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer is a masterpiece.
Sengoku Youko starts off slow, but it gets really good once it gets going. If you find yourself doubting the first few chapters, please give it another chance
I probably though it was short because I expected it to go on for longer, considering how great it was.

That's how I shall eloquently describe the previous, recently completed knight arc.

So yeah, this means I marathoned Sengoku Youko. The first half was just a thing of wonder to me, what with Jinka being my favorite sort of protagonist, the relationships he had with the other characters, and his chemistry with Tama, even though the powerlevels at the climax skyrocketed like heeeeell (with good reason, which is more than I can say for many conventional shounen (Sengoku Youko isn't shounen, just so you know that I know)). The Senya half so far is comparably less awesome by comparison, though I do like the contrast going on with Senya' personality and themes with Jinka's.
That and how he's a bit of a nod to that one golem from Biscuit Hammer.
