This is a question that's always kinda bothered me and I've never gotten a real answer to it. And seeing as this is a thread about them, I thought I'd ask.

Why are sex scenes even named lemons? I mean, other than the fact that fruit and sex are just different methods of achieving the same end for different species, how has a lemon become the name for sex in a fic? Cause if any woman came near me with a lemon during sex, I'd get a little worried.

This...seems to be the first entry in a series, so you can hardly criticize it for being incomplete.
Pretty much just getting the basics out of the way first.

I'm criticizing part I to be inadequate. It's a complete part unto itself, even if the subject is restricted to penis only.
