    Japan and/or France as scenarios for French Mangakas?

    So, im doing some research, as im graduated from college;

    I want to dive into experience with the manga-like BD/comic scenario at France.

    I saw with little research that the idea of trying to do manga here is a silly idea, and isnt a good option as a paybill.

    I would LOVE some opinions about this; so... quelq'un ici est Français?

    Salut, Koto.

    There are people who are published as mangaka(even though the term rings improper for most people) by Pika and Delcourt Editors.

    The most obvious one would be Reno with Dreamland and Jenny with Pink Diary.

    I wouldn't say it's something impossible but IT is certainly difficult. Remembering Reno saying that he had to try a lot of editors in order for his series to be published as a french manga. You'd probably stand better chance with a B-Dish style publication if you want to get a better chance in europe anyway.
