I havent played 2 yet, so i dunno about that; as just demonstrated, part 1's cast works pretty well too, if you are just a little creative with it.

Naegi definately needs a skill with "The culprit...is you!" and pointing at the enemy. possibly a finisher.

So after careful consideration if I wanted to seriously play the games of this thing or not I spoiled myself on both parts.

I almost regret it with part 2, Not!Naegi seemed like a cool dude.

He's is pretty interesting. I enjoyed reading the second game.

Not sure why, but I'm kind of looking forward to the following episodes.

I only got second hand information to go off for him but he seemed to have something that I really missed from the whole cast of DR1, that is a character that's more than a cardboard cutout stereotype.

Have you only watched the anime? In the game the characters get flashed out more than that. If you only watched the anime then you should read it. The anime, while nice, leaves out quite a bit of information and has no free time events in which Naegi interacts with the characters. Even the "tutorial" free time event was skipped, which is mandatory.

I still think that the characters of two are more flashed out, but the ones from the first part aren't too bad either.

I watched the anime and spoiled myself on the rest. Maybe it's really just the anime screwing things up, I dunno. I doubt that I'll play the games any time soon though as I already spoiled myself on everything.

NISA will deliver. I believe in them. Crossing fingers that this'll be like Ace Attorney's second wind.

'Course, now this also means that it'll be easier for people to justify action scenarios in any derivative works so again yay for that (I mean, DR/0 and DR IF displayed this anyway but whatever).

DR3 needs to have a fighting game minigame that takes place during trial. Because that's the next step up of intensity from snowboard minigames.

The game is a lot better, but if you've already spoiled yourself it would probably be boring for you considering most of the fun comes from figuring out the mysteries. As for the characters, if you want to get to know them better, you should just watch the free-time events, they're pretty fun.

I never felt like Dangan Ronpa would work as an anime, even if it got a proper adaptation.

Anyways, the new side novel about Kirigiri has been published recently. If anyone wants to read a review about it, here's a link. (there are spoilers)
