So I guess I'll just summarize some tidbits. Let me know if I should put these in spoiler tags. (For now I'm thinking of doing that only for any info relating to spoilers from 2.)
The setting of Another Episode is Tōwa City, where the Monokuma Kids are going on a killing spree targeting all the adults, aiming for an adult-free paradise.
This gives Komaru, who had been separated from her family since the Despair incident and subsequently kept locked up in an apartment for a year and half before the Monokuma attack, the chance to escape.
The new characters shown in the article ("Warriors of Hope") are the leaders of the Monokuma Kids, who play at being an RPG party (each of them claims to be a warrior/rogue/mage etc.). They are also apparently not antagonists, interestingly enough.
Oh yeah, and the game will be fully voiced, a first for the series.

Apparently they're planning to host a(nother) popularity contest; the results will be reflected in Another Episode. As to how, exactly, they're not saying.
(FYI, the previous popularity contest went something like,

Tōwa City is a new artificial island-city built by an IT conglomerate after the Despair Incident, and is a key hub of the reconstruction efforts, with air purifying facilities and everything.

Man, I remember thinking about quoting snippets from Nasu's blog for this day, but Nasu descriptions + fanboy raving proved too headache-inducing of a combination to tackle.
Fanfic writers would probably find it a gold mine of Nasuisms, though. ("Covenant Child of Hope," seriously Nasu?)

Also, there's a new PV out for Another Episode but it was just deleted. I found it here, though. (starts around ~5:00)
Shirokuma is so obviously reminiscent of Monomi that it must be evil instead. Both it and Kurokuma seem to be voiced by a different person than than Monokuma.
And "Servant" sounds different somehow too. Like, more Kumagawa than Komaeda.

I have been playing this little by little in the time I have and it is quite good (the first game) I finally have finished today and that ending had so many twists.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair anime! ...imitation of which a fan made, but it's pretty well done for an MMD.
Speaking of which, I had planned on buying the NA localization the day it came out, but still working my way through a gigantic backlog of 3DS games...
I'd sure like to see some opinions on it though if any here have bought it already.

Oh yeah, and there was a radio interview on Another Episode with Kodaka but apparently all he talked about was "the Servant." (who, along with Komaru and Fukawa and etc., is apparently going to get animated)
No details though since all I've seen is hearsay, sorry.
