It's a friendly action. Because telling a Servant to kill themselves is allowing them to rest. Shirou is such a nice guy.
I mean Chiron and Achilles' last encounter is face to face on top of a plane. Its melee combat i dont think Chiron stands a chance else even if he uses his Centaur form. If Achilles fights Karna, if his 5th NP is really the shield, + Battle Continuation + A rank Endurance, I doubt he cant tank a Vasavi Shakti and still he would have enough firepower to survive a Brahmastra Kundala before dying.
You underestimate Kundala. This is the one move Nasu kept dying against in CCC so he told the company to nerf it into a damage over time move.
Vasavi Shakt is EX, and the thing is does is "kill you dead".

Achilles will survive XD I see him fulfilling his wish, "lives as a hero and die as a hero." It will be very funny though that the entire events of the final battle were written to how Shakespeare wants it.
