Can't help but agree. I feel Fran was just underutilized and wasted, and I wish there was more with her and her interactions with Caules because shippy or not, their interactions were sweet and made me care about both.

I apologize for being a nuisance and necroing a post made months ago; however, I have to ask where you found the translation for the Achilles vs Atalanta fight. I had given up hope for volume 5 to ever be translated, so seeing it is an utter shock.
You translated it
...It took me a second to realize you were referring to the user You and not me. Did You post the translation on the site, or was that his personally reading?
Also, I could have sworn I quoted his text when I replied to him. Why isn't it showing up?

Ahh, gotcha. Yeah, just a tiny bit different.
For starters, no stupid out-of-place panty shot or obnoxiously loud sound effects.
I see I missed a lot of stuff happening out here, makes me sad. I mean, Apoc manga is still coming out though so eh.
Manga doesn't skip much from the novels in terms of Characters right?
Can't see that happening. SF is more popular and still ongoing, (and then there's the inevitable anime that has yet to come).Cylascream

Nah. It was right after Sieg and Jeanne met, but their motivations and reasons to stick together were already established by that point, so it's not like the manga skipped over big character development. It was just some cute stuff like Sieg helping her do Laeticia's math homework and Laeticia making Jeanne feel awkward being close to a boy.
Anyway yeah, if you're not going to read the LNs (understandable with the translation dead) the manga is a much better alternative than the anime.
Anime had a banger soundtrack though.
