Rather it's "I did not waver from my original goal".

The thing I liked about Mordred was how he was a Villain through and through. An innocent kid who was brought up to hate and kill Arthur and did not know of anything else.
That "Brought up to be a Villain" trait.

I liked how he was made of Hatred and Evil.

True.
In the traditional legend, he just comes as a guy who hates Arthur and ultimately causes Arthur's death. No character development.

But I find that melding it with Heather Dale version actually gave me a type of character I was looking for.
A character whose whole purpose didn't involve anything else except hatred and killing a person.

The Nasu version might be a better version of Mordred with giving 'her' reasons and circumstances. It even makes the story more eventful. But I've already read/seen that kind of a tragic story.
The reason Mordred stuck to my mind was because like I said, the "Villian" nature, the 'being brought up to be a villain', giving no importance to anything else, keeping his heart closed and with nothing except negative emotions all for the sake of his ultimate goal.

He was like a completely different kind of character for me. Hence why I like him that way.

I dunno. Perhaps I would have preferred The Mordred who is a Child of Evil, a Terminator come from Arthur's past to kill him no matter what (thanks, mommy Morgan).

But I guess I also like Nasu!Mordred.

Ahhh, you guys want an unsympathetic villain with no redeeming qualities. You want a villain with no cause, just wants to wreck chaos. The type that's either hated incredibly or admired for the brass balls of being such an unapologetic bastard.

That's cool, I also like those kinds of villains. Sometimes. Nasu's Mordred is better to me this way though, I like that 'she' has more angles to her rather than just be a complete square.
