And the focus on fan service will kill this anime adaptation. Outside the ecchi scenes, it was pretty enjoyable.
Well, watched ep. 1. Personally, I didn't see much focus on fan service, except during the Dogoo scene. Funnily, though, that scene is basically a recreation of the one in mk2. And the little cameos and nods to the games were nice too. Wonder if Rei will play a bigger role in the series, or if her scenes were just funny cameos.
Ya know, it seemed fine when I was playing the game, but it was actually kinda messed up watching them just slay those little things in the anime. Messed up in a completely funny way, but still. I'm still playing PP because 2D idol games, mang. Can't ever get enough of idol games. Gonna play the Vita remake of the first game once it's out too, but more looking forward to dat Noire game.
Well, that was a fun episode, captures the feeling in the game very well. Yeah, the initial Dogoo-slaughtering seemed weird, but then these bastards prove why they had to be exterminated. Still cute though.
Purple Heart is still as uberhawt as ever, I see.

Woot, Episode 2! Fun times with Blanc. And the mysterious red stone strikes again.
While the title kinda gave it away, I was honestly surprised to see Trick and Linda make an appearance. Wonder if the other ASIC members will appear, or if its just them (considering they're relegated to hired lackeys according to Linda). Also, Abnes. And my god, Conversation from the first game appeared. She sounded familiar at first, but near the end, yes, it was definitely her.
Now, who will be the main antagonist? Arfoire seems the most active so far, like in the first game, but with four of the Seven Sages appearing, plus the red stone business and now ASIC members, who knows?
Oh, and we now have the ED. Poor Nep-Nep. Crushed by boobs.

He has to appear. Even if it's not as a member of ASIC, he has to appear somehow.
Also of note in the ED, Gampics of 5pb, Abnes, Linda, Trick, Rei, Mages and the Oracles along with the others. Wonder if they'll have some role later. (Then again, the Ancient Dragon has one too)
Aaaand I can't believe I just got the joke with the turtle and peaches in Super Retro Land. orz

Haven't played the games but it seemed amusing enough so I checked out the 1st episode:
