Not getting hit is the most important thing.
Fuuuuu- That damn pink headed bitch. Dodging while injured doesn't seem like a good idea, but attacking what we don't know, doesn't seem like a good idea either.
Hmmmm.
[09] ATTACK!

A shrill whistle tears through air where you were standing only seconds ago, missing you by nothing more than a hair's breadth as you bodily throw yourself to a side in a frenzied movement born of desperation.
A clanging explosion.
A scream of anger and dismay.
Gunfire like the roar of an angry goddess.
You hear the impacts and screaming which confirms your frantic shots to have been right on target even as you were jumping and spinning blindly to retaliate. Your fall ends in a grimy puddle, your already sore shoulder slamming painfully into the ground and filth. Not too far from you, you see another body do the same.
One of your hunters, a Magical Girl clad in whites and grays, lies strewn on the floor no more than a few steps from where you're desperately gasping for breath, strange disc like weapons lying only a scant few inches away from her fingers. Even over the deafening drumming of your heart in your ears you can hear her breath coming in rapid gurgling gasps. You caught her in the chest, most likely pierced one or both of her lungs – a minor wound for a Magical Girl.
It'll only be a minute before she's up and trying to kill you again.
[#36]Try and talk to her. You’re not even sure why you’re being hunted.
[#37]Get up. Kill her before she recovers. Her motives are irrelevant – she tried to kill you.

[#36]Try and talk to her. You're not even sure why you're being hunted.
'Cause I kind of feel like it's important that we know why if we want to survive the rest of the story.
Need to know why so show mercy for now

A live person is infinitely more useful than a dead one. This way you'll be able to get information and even possibly use her as a human shield. If you can locate her soul gem, blackmail is possible.
Besides, in Noir, the detective never kills anyone without questioning them first.
Talking is fun.

Gritting your teeth, you force yourself to your feet with a pained grunt of exertion and rush over to your fallen hunter with all the grace of a wounded and exhausted young woman, nearly stumbling over your heels in your hurry. You see her twitching awkwardly, trying to do the same, trying to rise, her eyes wide and frantic.
She has silver blue eyes; a color like the sky right before a storm.
Much the same color as the Soul Gem located at her stomach.
Her costume resembles some sort of butler outfit with linear highlights and patterns, accented with frills at her wrists and waist. The shirt buttons at her stomach are undone, revealing the Soul Gem and giving her a rakish, androgynous look when coupled with her short, silver hair.
Just because you're going to talk to her doesn't mean you have to be dumb about it, you think to yourself as you point your gun at the gem on her stomach.
"Why," your voice sounds hoarse in your ears as it burns its way out of your throat, "why are you after me?"
Her eyes widen in shock at your question and her face contorts in anger, before rapidly shifting into amusement. A gurgling sound in her throat bursts forth and blood bubbles at her lips.
"Why?" she murmurs, giggles lurking behind her blood soaked words. "You're asking... why? For the fame, the notoriety, of killing you... Because you're a murderer..."
She gasps suddenly and blood dribbles out of her lips as a small spasm courses her body.
"Because it's our mission... Our duty..."
Thunder rumbles over head. It's going to rain soon.
[#61]Keep talking to her. Ask her who gave her this mission. Try and get her to back down.
[#62]No loose ends. Kill her now and move on, or the rest of the hunters might arrive.

Though not on-board with the lolgrimdark that Lyco seems to trying to force, still feeling pretty wary about this. I think I'd really rather we got ourselves time and space to recover without an imminent threat.
[#37]Get up. Kill her before she recovers. Her motives are irrelevant – she tried to kill you.
E: Ah, sod. Well, on the one hand, she's not looking that amenable to reason. So execution, running and hiding might be the way. OTOH, if we aren't already a murderer, justifying what looks to be some pretty fanatical devotion to our death is probably a bad idea. Um.

Interrogate. Acquire information, disregard grievous wounds.
Oh, and take her soul gem so you have a way of keeping her in line. Hell, it might be better than killing her.
