Just about, I'm not kidding. I bought the PC I'm using right now almost 7 years ago, I'm one of those XP holdouts.
That being said, at the time I bought this it was cutting edge, It has one of the very first quad cores released into the market (Intel 6700) I did leave the graphics card out at the time I purchased it because I knew I could just drop one in later on so I ended up getting a GF 7800 later that year.
I am in the process of trying to build a new machine now since I don't want to get stuck with windows 8, so I'll probably wait until then to play this.

Oh shush, XP is still good. I would've upgraded earlier but real life concerns get in the way every time I'm planing my new PC, my roommate runs away to elope with someone leaving me stuck with the lease (I'm not joking with this one either, ended up paying $1000 a month for 4 months), car breaks down, needs a new drivetrain which means It's cheaper to get a another (read: used) car, etc, etc, etc.
Point is I'm not stuck with this machine just because I want to, it's because every time I save a good chunk of money for the eventual build God looks down from the heavens, points at me and says "Alright, today the whole universe is out to get this poor sucker" I since decided to just buy all the parts separate little by little and then eventually get a new machine built from that.

And by then I had upgraded from Millennium Edition Windows Compaq Tower PC with 512 RAM and a Pentium 3 Processor. If I never begged to get a new PC, would be STILL stuck with it.
Then I started getting paid and now have what I've wanted for a long time.

I used XP, then Vista came out when I was in middle school, then I installed Vista on another partition, then I decided that Vista was shit after 2 weeks, then I deleted my Vista partition, then 7 came out, then I decided that I liked 7, then I deleted my XP partition.
As you can see, it was a complicated relationship where I was sleeping with both XP-tan and Vis-tan before deciding to dump Vis-tan because she was a bitch and beg XP-tan for forgiveness, but ultimately finding a better waifu in Nanami and finally dumping XP-tan.
