Idol Singer King Arthur, and Hammerspace Loli Benkei, and Ashoka Maurya who never puts on a goddamned shirt, and Moe Captain Cook, and some boring-ass main heroine chick who keeps hogging all the sex scenes.

I have no clue who the fuck half of these people are supposed to be because of all the genderbending EVERYWHERE, but they're all ridiculous and some are amusing and a lot are just silly. The main heroine is annoying, though, and it's really shoved in your face that she's the main girl even though she's some weird boring crap otaku bait innocent girl whose only good spell is a healing spell that gets redundant shortly into the game.

Anywho, discuss Eiyuu Senki here. It's actually a pretty fun game, overall. Definitely hard at times, and all those damned missions keep popping up out of the blue.

There needs to be a list of who's who. The game's website is down, so I can't check.

Also, doublepost, Five, which do you recommend me to attack first? I have events in what I think is China, one faction on the north, and one faction on the south.

Mongolia is north, China is middle, and India is south.

I recommend making one foray into India to get the first city; capturing it gets you an awesome character who deals tons of damage. Don't worry about the Indian leader taking it over again, since she won't actively chase you like the Chinese do.

Defeat the Chinese first, since they're the most annoying, and then take down the Indians since they're the toughest. Mongolia should be last, since there's an easy way there for you to take down their capital early on, thereby defeating them and winning their other cities. Never, ever try a two-front war against the Indians and Chinese unless you want to be really stupid and crazy. You just don't have enough characters to pull that yet. Mongolia is quick and attack first in most battles, but are overall really weak. Enemies seem to be scaled to your progress, so doing them last essentially makes the weakest of the three factions only slightly difficult.

As for translations, Kratosirving is the master of all that stuff, so once he's back he can help us out.

Oy. Only thing my AGTH is grabbing is the text for when the character actually TALK. It's not grabbing item descriptions or world map locations or anything else. (Much to my chagrin.)

Anyhoo as for that first set of choices, I went India > Mongolia > China (or wtfever it's called here. Something like Taika from what I could tell from the world map when they get their turn)

Definitely agreeing with only doing one front at a time for now; hell I'm on turn 117 and still only doing one nation at a time, although I may have to start branching out. Goddamned Hammurabi and Alexander with 4-5k troops values. (Pretty sure it's different depending on when you go after them though.)

This I can do, but it can be a fairly bit complicated. There's a great thread that has a step-by-step guide on hongfire though, so drop a google search for AGTH + Translator Aggregator. Has pics too.

So, who's everyone's favourite characters (if you can figure out who they are)?

I like Yoshitsune, she's pretty hardcore and is my overall toughest character. Though, that was kind of accidental - I raised her Army Number to 1600 or so on the first turn when I was trying to figure things out. :P

As for favorite character so far...Favorite stand-alone character is Kublai (Fubirai from the translation) Khan. Best Duo however is Cooke-chan and Magellan-chan by FAR.
