    Permission Issues

    I don't know if this is because my account is somewhat new but, whenever I click on my name in the upper bar (or anyone's name) it always returns with a message saying that I don't have permission to view this page:

    templar627, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

    Is this just because my account is new?

    We had a member that flooded the forum with sockpuppet accounts trying to advertise his own forum via spam. After a few posts you get your privileges.

    it is my firm belief that regarding the ban of mike1984 I have been given insufficient reason for the affair and it's conclusion, further than this I feel that the light manner it has been treated in is appalling. It is my sincere hope that he is not regarded in the same way as actually malicious posters who have appeared on beast's lair or otherwise as a joke to be snickered at when spoken of in the future. I will not forget my friend or view him in the manner those in charge here have presented him and his actions, nor will I accept the situation as it stands where people snicker at him as if he were a joke.

    so is he permabanned or not? if so kinda total bullshit when he was trying to correct (at best) a misconception you had about his behaviour or otherwise defending himself from an outright attack, in either case it seems like another gun jump or (in the worst case) an abuse of power
