    Wait...

    Gil = 2/3 Divine

    Therefore:
    Father = 1/2 Divine
    Mother = 1/1 Divine

    Therefore:
    Grandparent 1 = 0/1 Divine
    Grandparent 2 = 1/1 Divine

    ...

    If:
    Grandfather = 0/1 Divine

    Then:
    Grandfather banged a goddess and Father banged a goddess.

    But:
    Gil rejected a goddess.

    ...

    Conclusion:
    Gil's line was one step away from true divinity, but Gil rejected that last step.

    Ergo:
    Gilgamesh is in fact a disappointment to his family's line.

    ...

    Huh...looks like the King of Heroes really fucked up back there.

    Also, if Gilgamesh is only 2/3 divine, then his habit of calling everyone mongrels is in fact, hypocrisy.

    Entrances naked women, is considered the fruit of knowledge, grants immortality, grows on the death isle of King Arthur and doesn't afraid of anything.

    Didn't you know? Hypocrisy is reserved for the king.

    As I recall, Lugalbanda was born mortal, but acquired 1/3 divinity through his deeds. When Lug banged Ninsun, half that sliver of divinity went to Gilgamesh. 1/6 divinity + 1/2 Divinity = 2/3 divinity.

    So in ancient Uruk, if you were badass and cool enough they gave you godhood in place of medals?

    Yeah, it's interesting (I don't particularly remember how Lugalbanda's case happened). Post-death deification, though, is common in various places, especially when your gods are not absolute concepts of good, justice and righteousness but are of a much more human dimension. Most ancient Greek cities had patron heroes; each ... political district, we'll call it ... of Athens had its patron and so forth. Herakles is the most obvious and prominent one, but tonnes of heroes are worshipped after their deaths. Imperial deification almost becomes as formality in Rome, only denied when that emperor's cult of personality had severely broken down.

    Hell, it's not without parallels even in monotheistic religions. Saints - especially the martyrs - are not so different, particularly in Catholicism.

    Nickname in real life when best friends randomly decided to have us pick Japanese names beginning with 'R'. I thought of Rukia from Bleach when asked and they christened me as 'Ruuka' though it's often changed into 'Ruu-tan' because it's... cuter. So the nickname kinda stuck.

    Artist's block. Bigger bitch than karma, I swear.

    My e-mail, which originally had something to do with Pokemon. When I started using it as a username long ago, I took off a couple letters so it wouldn't be as obvious. But it's also weird for people to pronounce during voice chat, which is something I didn't consider at the time...

    My username...
    Well, it's a shortened version of "Caizaguano", an old nickname I was given back in middle school. I have no idea how they came up with it. The nickname was based on my last name (Caicedo), but my classmates later started shortening it to Caiza. I eventually took it (changing the spelling a bit), and have used it for every username ever since. My old classmates still call me Caiza in college, though.

    I just ended up seeing this japanese name somewhere, liked it, and started using it. I probably have 5+ accounts with this name.

    That and I like Iron Man too.
