I used to think that the battle between Aoko and uh Flat Snark (since he sorta ran out of Alice's control [i swear i'm seeing this happen just about everywhere i go]) was the moment when Aoko went nuts and actually dared to play with the Fifth...

Since i'm sure it wasn't the case now, given that Aoko only fired that thing on Tohko (from angry in mahoyo to driven to wisdom thru loss in KnK, i guess), i hope we get to read this before 2020.

Say, what if we try to get a sort of japanese teaching thing going, using mahoyo as a way to achieve this?
My nihongo is noob-level, but i've been considering learning jap solely for the sake of getting mahoyo done, and as far as i've written, a bunch of people have a similar desire... Perhaps if those who could translate but don't feel like doing it could uh point the unguided noobs towards material to learn decent japanese, and coordinate the evolution of the noob-crowd skills, this could get some results.

This is a bit extreme, of course, but uh, the alternative, as in, the 'sit and wait' approach, hasn't truly gotten the job done in a rather long while, and the current ETA seems to be 'you wish!', so i'm not sure i'm being unreasonable.

You're kidding but I actually started learning Japanese for this reason like... Many years ago. It was (and still is) something I'm doing at my spare time as a hobby.
I've gotten to a basic conversational level (at least, I managed to converse with Japanese people while I was in Japan) but it's still far from enough.
We need a proper translator. I think someone on fuwa is working on it.
