I think that was Mike fanon because it allowed him to be mad at Tokiomi for sending Sakura away because magecraft getting weaker with more users is clearly Association hogwash.

Araya, what do you seek?
「アラヤ、何を求める」
------True wisdom.「――――真の叡智を」
Araya, where do you seek it?「アラヤ、何処に求める」
Only within myself.「――――ただ、己が内にのみ」
Araya, what is your favorite color?「アラヤ、好きな色は?」
Blue. No, ora-- Auuuuuuuugh!「青、いや、オレンジイイイイイアアアっ!」

Someone post runes, or god forbid english, up in this. The lack of source is disturbing.
According to Angel Notes, Humanity managed to outlive the planet itself.
It had to ask help from other planets to extinguish humanity, but even so, humanity managed to defeat about half of those sent to destroy it.
So yes, I'd say humanity is pretty damn special in Type Moon verse.
Maybe the reason why Gaia failed to create a Type-Earth is because humanity as a whole is already Type-Earth
Gaia is just tsundere about it. Or maybe this is all a gigantic scam to troll other planets by Gaia.
Is the connection to the root really that important though?
In Mahoyo we have a regular average joe guy punching an ancient phantasmal beast through the heart.
It didn't die being a phantasmal beast, but it that left the beast with permanent mental damage.
Maybe humanity's real power in TypeMoon verse is not giving a damn to establish rules.

Ok going by what's been said earlier, back in ancient times (like when Gilgamesh was lounging around), humanity was also strong just by the fact they was less of them around?
It's like a pie. The pie is the same size, but if you cut it into lots of slices, each slice gets smaller the more slices you make.
Except the pie in this case is humanity and it's worth. Or something.
That's how magic works in the Nasuverse too, which is why they try to hog it to themselves.
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Technically, the reason some people came up with as to why the Ultimate Ones were not constantly fighting hundreds of Counter Guardians is that Alaya kinda really did die out.
Like, when the Western Continent exploded at the latest. But yeah, since that was also when Gaia died I'd say they both died at the same time. As you could still actually grow things on the Western Continent. Now everything besides the World Tree (Type-Venus' body/corpse) is 'uninhabitable' (I take this to mean that Gaia did something to its corpse to make it so that you literally won't be able to sustain any kind of life on it no matter what. And its also actually poisonous otherwise the A Rays/Knights wouldn't have set up the Great Rift).
Yeah, pretty much everything is stronger the less people know about it.
Unless for the times when its actually the opposite (like gods, belief, and NPs). Seriously this part makes no sense and its contradictory.

It's outside of Alaya's jurisdiction.Technically, the reason some people came up with as to why the Ultimate Ones were not constantly fighting hundreds of Counter Guardians is that Alaya kinda really did die out.
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
holy fucking herp derp
For some reason, since we haven't like, talked about Notes in like months, I suddenly became under the impression the Great Rift was some kind of weird wall thing that was around the World Tree. Or something.
I blame Shingeki no Kyojin.

...yeah, I agree with you.
Oh Nasu, you and your pusedo-mystical-philosophical-conceptual...rules.

But why??? Eldritch Abominations that are the Types that are all powerful and coming to wipe humanity out is what makes Alaya not do anything?
Notes was setting up something. The strange absence of Alaya, and Venus tapping into the collective unconscious and becoming the materialized wish.
The story is short, and the background is brief.
You will know 20 years from now when Nasu decides to revisit Notes like he did Mahoyo.
Order's supposed to be broken over there.
What does that even mean anyway.
IT'S MAGIC TIME
The Liners are burning the essence of the Stars themselves.
Each one is his own System.
Everyone is fighting on a blank stage, including the Aristotles.
All this talk is making me want a more meatier Notes remake.
