Champions' Ballad has disappointed me.
It was marketed as being story driven, and instead they have us an extremely roundabout fetch quest.
For what it's worth, the little story there actually was was pretty good, and there were feels, but the problem is that the character development isn't needed if it's just for the one scene. In the end, it felt kind of pointless

And freeing the Divine Beasts really makes the final battle with Ganon way too easy. Not that it isn't cool to see the sages actually help out during the boss fight, but nevertheless.

I still say that no other game deserves Game of the Year more than Breath of the Wild though. For whatever flaws it might have, and whatever I was just bitching about, it's still a fantastic game.

I'm still humming Calamity Ganon's theme. There isn't a lot of exciting music in this game, but when it shows up damn is it jaw-dropping.

Yeah, I got the game a few weeks ago and have been playing it avidly. Very good, though the combat system feels a lot harder then past Zelda titles and definitely takes time getting used to...
