    Sometimes sequels are made to make up for a predecessor doing poorly or because they were set up to begin with. We are in an age of sequels and remakes, after all. Though I do believe that 9 sold well enough and I don't think 9 or 10 did poorly. Both were very fun. And Shadow Dragon was okay (No supports, no forgiveness) but 12 was a great make-up. My Unit creation was probably the big thing that helped sell the title, plus the addition of some semblance of supports. Shame we never got 12 in the West, but hey, we've got those wonderful individuals who gifted us with the FE12 patch. Also, Awakening comes out tomorrow! Celebrate! Shame that Spring classes at college also begin on the same day for me...

    Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat... c'mon man, don't say that. Sure shipping has made a few games arrive late but I preordered that 3DS bundle so hopefully it'll all arrive on the day it releases. Preorder stuff doesn't usually delay.

    I tried Awakening's demo and I was surprised by the improved AI, I tried to bait a single enemy with an unarmed Frederick in the prologue and two other enemy units that couldn't attack me followed it to make things harder, and the boss of the first chapter moved from his spot accompanying its allies even though I was way outside its attack range. Also, the effects of the fire particles in the game look real pretty with the 3D on.
    I'm definitely buying the game sometime in the next couple of months.

    Yeah I did that too, intending to use him as gopher+bait, and was shocked when they didn't give a shit. I'm still not big on the increase of ~anime~ in the character designs but otherwise this game seems fun.

    Because if people want to try Fire Emblem, they should play FIRE EMBLEM. Permadeath shouldn't be optional.
