A shame FE12 doesn't fix the horrible grafix. Seriously, who thought the clay look was good?

Not compared to fe4/5. I kinda miss those animations.
You can look forward to FE13, the new system will change everything. We actually don't know if it is for the better or worse though.
Wow, it was released a while ago.... gotta play it now.

So hey. Playing FE1. I don't believe any sequel can be better. 'tis perfection. Except for controls. And fact I don't know what the shit do Thieves do (except level me up graciously and 1 damage sometimes). And what's using "Thief" item doing and why does it fail. And what's this Vublabla that I got that also fails. (When used, it says - someone used Vublabla. *UNREADABLE TEXT*. Same for "thief". Neither vublabla nor thief item is used, but turn's over)
FE1 as in for the NES/Famicom?
The series has changed a lot since then. Hardly anyone ever bothers to look at 1 because we have 3 for SNES and 11 for DS. Nobody looks at 2 either. Poor Gaiden, so little love. ;_;
There's no way in hell I'm gonna look at 2 without 1, 3 without 2, etc. Long way to go it is.
Why would you do that
To fully experience the evolution that the great series called Fire Emblem has gone through, that is the only way to go.

What's the point of playing sequel without playing predecessor anyway >:
The only exception is BloodRayne 2, play it for the hottie.
Well I guess it is only because the story of the predecessors don't directly affect the sequels that people feel less obliged to play them.

Well, yes. I hav the FE 1 installed, and started playing it, but as soon as I discovered that 3 is the same, just with other graphics, I decided to leave it. You should play 2, though. I think there is no remake of it.
This is the way the series works when it comes to sequels and such.
1, 2, and 3 are all connected and in sequence, however, it is perfectly possible to play 3 without having played 1 or 2 because it contains a remake of 1 and 2's story is off to the side.
5 is a midquel for 4, taking place during the timeskip in the latter.
7 is a prequel to 6, and I don't believe that 7 contains any spoilers for 6 (been so long since I've played 7, guys)
8 stands on its own.
9 and 10 go in direct sequence with each other.
11 and 12 are remakes of 1 and 3 respectively.
13 has yet to come out in the US, and is a weird mix of standing by itself and being a part of the 1/3 timeline.
Bartre so badass with mustache
Canas was killed by continuity errors. ;_;
Really? Why? Also, I am sure Niime is/was his wife, who lived after the storm they couldn't stop.
