Been working on four and six on and off, played through 7-10, and still can't bring myself to touch 11 anymore.

I personally liked seven the best, although 9 comes close too.

Yeah. And despite my love of Fire Emblem, FE1/3 kinda fucking sucks due to its lack of characterization or actual plot. But hey, it was an early game.

Talking about FE reminds me of the days some really stupid fanboys tried to use fanboy logic on me.

Aaaaaaand....I played 6-9, didn't play 10 since I have no Wii, played 11, never touched 1-5 due to laziness.

Finished 7 and 8. I got around midway in 6, although the text could use a bit of cleaning and more clarity.

I've been trying to find translated ROMs of the SNES games, but not much luck. I found a few, but they aren't totally translated.

I can give them to you. 4 has been 90% translated. Only the epilogue is untranslated, I think. 5 has been about 90% or so translated. I actually haven't played 5 since it's been translated. I used to be on the site with the people who translated it way back when, so I don't know how much more progress they've made.

I've yet to finish a FE game, despite how much I love them to death. Every time something conspires to stop me, either me losing the cartridge, my computer just dying on me, the save file gets eaten, or some other totally random and crazy nonsense.

My claim to fame is getting a B in Thracia 776 without using savestates for anything other than stopping to do other things.

And yeah, I've got FE 4 & 5 (SNES and patches) and 6-8 (GBA and necessary patches). One of us should be able to handle any requests.

Only 6 (GBA) was fan-translated. The rest we just use the official import or original Japanese ('cause they're different).

Can someone please tell me how to cross to the freaking castle on the first act? I'm rather stuck and I can't find a way to get to the other side. :/

For the prologue, head down and left to reach the first castle. Then take the second castle. If you're talking about the first real chapter (Chapter 1), you can't conquer the castle directly to your left. That's Agustrian land. Also, do not kill Ayra when she comes out of the south castle. She's going to kick the crap out of you, so watch yourself. Take the castle first, then talk to her. This map also has a secret Hero Axe (the best axe in the game) after you take the second castle. There's a peninsula right before the Spirit Forest. Send Lex out there onto the last square.
