It seems like Bayonetta's just been released on PC. Platinum Games has finally seen the light!

That said, I'm still gonna wait for a few review to come out. Gotta know whether it's worth buying full price, or if it's just a crappy port at 30fps with barely any support.

Early reviews seem encouraging.

Let’s get the negative points out of the way first: the gameplay is locked to 60 FPS, and in-engine cutscenes run at 30 FPS. That said, frame-pacing was very good in both of these scenarios, which means that frames were rendered and presented in consistent time intervals...

PC Gamer also tested Bayonetta on a mid-range PC with a Core i5 CPU and a GTX 970, and never saw the framerate drop below 60 fps on high settings at 1080p. Another system running a Core i5 4690K CPU and an R9 Nano likewise performed without a hitch.

A bunch more info for "Digimon: Hacker's Memory" was revealed via magazine. Really excited for this game.



The first page details about the protagonist and how he fits into the story. "Keisuke Amazawa falls victim of identity theft and is accused of a crime he didn’t do. In order to find the culprit, he joins a team of hackers called “Hudie,” with a base of operations at a cyber café. With Hudie, you’ll take on various requests from the PC. From there, you’ll be required to take on dungeons, investigate the real world, and put your hacking skills to use."
The second page is all about the two main allies helping you, Erika Mishima "a genius hacker, a member of Hudie, a girl who is extremely shy of strangers, and a shut-in who lives together with her older brother. An incident in her past has awakened the genius in her. Her partner is the cowardly Wormmon. After Erika saved it from a pinch in the past, they’ve been partners ever since. The two will work together with the protagonist and even help out in battles at times." And of course the other one is Fei, returning from Cyber Sleuth, a ruthless Zaxon hacker who uses Hudie to take out opposing forces.

Well there seems to be 3 wings, people that get mad with FE/Persona/this loc because it's bad (most JP speakers seem to be here), people that get mad if it's not weeb enough and bad (anti-FE faction goes here) and people that get mad if it's bad but not localized bad (anti-Persona but pro-FE faction goes here).

I'm all for localization of jokes and such, but not editing gameplay content. Leave Hitler in Innocent Sin, keep the Gavure plot from #FE and don't edit the risque costumes.

But above all else, don't publicly complain about your job and not expect to be let go at the first possible convenience.
