I mean to be fair Dead Space is not unrelated: Dead Space 2 was a financial failure, 3 was a critical and I believe also financial one (and DS3 would be what killed DS, not this). So you definitely had Dead Space weighing down Visceral as they moved into this. But here we have the biggest IP in the world and a major name (Hennig) as the headliner on it, and EA has still decided that the only way it can be made good on is to flush the entire studio (along with all employees) and cannibalize the assets for what is effectively a different project.

Dead Space 3 was a ridiculous success for what was supposed to be a horror game, but by action game standards (which it was), and by the amount of money and crap EA poured into it, it was a flop. They didn't even recoup the money they spent, IIRC. Should've taught them a lesson, but I think all they learned from that was "welp ded space a shit, time to go molest some other franchise".

Awww, I guess I'm not getting a Tales character now that FF is in. It would have worked so well, they're already made by Namco. Noctis looks cool through. But DLC 3? I thought Geese was the first?
