Meh, from what I read I was better off not knowing it was a thing. Fortunately the copy of WC3+Frozen Throne I have somewhere in my library was never online to begin with, so I don't have to worry about forced updates and whatnot.

Once and always and nevermore.
The game's broken and they're banning people who talk about refunds on their forums.

MAGES may be more recognizable by their former name 5pb inc.
They're first and foremost known for being the developers of the entire Sci;ADV series (Choas;head, Steins;gate, Robotics;notes, Chaos;child and all related spinoffs), but they had their hand in the publishing of an extremely long list of all ages console VNs. All those VN versions of popular harem anime that allow you to date the losing heroines too (oreimo, oregairu, haganai, rezero, sao, konosuba you freaking name it). Console ports of many popular eroge such as Muvluv series, Sharin no Kuni etc. The YU-NO remake, the commercial Corpse Party games, etc etc etc
I have no idea what Colopl has done besides Shironeko Project and Dragon Quest Walk, and that's only because I played one and play the other
The fact they're listed on Bravely Default, but not Bravely Second makes me think they were just doing contract work.

As someone who hasn't played an Assassin's Creed game since AC2, I'm wondering if they shouldn't just call it something else at this point after seeing the debut trailer for the latest game...
Oh well, colour me interested since Vikings are involved now.Key Features

How do you feel about them making the Alfred the Great more of a villain?
Well, Ubisoft has been playing fast and loose with their historical settings since the beginning so it doesn't bother me personally.
But it does raise some questions about the plot since I can't see the player being victorious and slaying Alfred the Great seeing as he was kinda important to the formation of England to say the least.
I stopped paying attention to AssCreed since 3 and my main experience was Ezio's story.
I kind of see the same problem happening to that franchise as it is here, the degeneration into something far past the initial premise.
