While I hope Halo TV does well, there are two things that leave me worried, first: Speilberg, Second: Traviss.
Isn't the main director originally just some guy from the Halo forums though? Just from what I've heard people talk about (since I myself have very little experience with the Halo franchise) it sounds like everyone running the ship is different.
Araya, what do you seek?
「アラヤ、何を求める」
------True wisdom.「――――真の叡智を」
Araya, where do you seek it?「アラヤ、何処に求める」
Only within myself.「――――ただ、己が内にのみ」
Araya, what is your favorite color?「アラヤ、好きな色は?」
Blue. No, ora-- Auuuuuuuugh!「青、いや、オレンジイイイイイアアアっ!」
Well, yes and no.
You see, the main creative director of 343 is Frank O'Connor, whose job at Bungie was "content manager" which in his own word is "professional spare monkey" but ha was also the community manager which means that he was the one to do the blog posts with announcements for map packs, playlist changes, cool shit, etc.

They hired Spielberg. I'm sure they've got a big pool of cash to dip into if they need. I mean, hell, for Halo 4 they did a 4 (5?) episode miniseries called Forward Unto Dawn that was pretty good. The budget isn't the problem, how they direct / make it would be what worries me.

I remember years back when Peter Jackson was supposed to be making a Halo movie. I didn't mind that the project fell apart, because we got District 9 instead. Either way, I'm not sure what to make of this Halo miniseries since I've yet to watch "Forward Unto Dawn". I've always liked the Halo lore more than the actual Halo gameplay.
Mirros Edge 2 might be a thing.
If Amazon Germany is to be believed that is, I just want this one to be true, pleeeease let it be true.

We have been waiting (and teased) for Mirror's Edge 2 since the moment the first one ended.
It hasn't happened yet =/

ME was shitty. Though I guess they can always improve on it.
[04:55] Lianru: i3uster is actuallly quite cute
Whatchu say about Mass Effect? Imma cut you.
Kidding, but that is the whole point of making another one, Assassins Creed was also a shitty game, but they got to fix it on the sequel and now it's good shit. I want that to happen to Mirrors Edge dammit, you could just see it lingering beneath the surface that this game could have been so much more with some more polish and debug time. ;_;

Oh, I am loving this Nintendo marketing supremacy. The Xbox One’s disappointing reveal has shot up sales of the Wii U on Amazon.com. The system was at #390 before the conference, but now has shot up to #40 due to Microsoft’s glorified TV box.
This momentum should carry Nintendo right into the summer as they have big plans for the Wii U at E3 and this fall. The console race has just begun but it’s good to see gamers are picking up a system that’s dedicated to gaming first, and multimedia second.
Just wait, it's all apart ofGiygas'sReggie's plan. They will be selling millions world wide soon enough.
Not as telling as the whole Sony-stock-rose-10% thing, but still a sign nonetheless.
I still wonder where in the hell did the games went to in that conference, we got maybe 5 seconds of gameplay from COD: Ghosts and everything after that was tv, tv, content, tv, tv, tv, entertainment, tv, tv, EA partnership, tv, tv, tv, live action Halo, and at the end we get one game, and one that we already knew of.

It makes me ashamed that I was a big Xbox 360 fan. Maybe I'll buy a PS3, they should be cheap now if I buy one off Ebay.
Found a 250 GB black charcoal one for 100 bucks.
