I actually kind of miss the manuals but I'm okay with everything being digital now. They still make guidebooks after all.

The "manuals" I sort of miss are the ones that add extra atmosphere for the game world, rather than just telling how to get started with the game.

Most notably are the old Origin "We Create Worlds" manuals/extra books, like the one for Wing Commander written as if it were a magazine that was published for the members of the crew on the ship you are flying out of, or the Ultima geography/bestiary books, which were written as if an author had travelled the world, and written a book describing what he had encountered in his journeys. Those were usually a fun read, even outside the game.

My most obscure ps2 games are probably Dark Cloud and Jak and Daxter, both of which can't be that obscure since they've both gotten HD ports in the last few years.

Speaking of old games I wish they'd advance faster with xbox emulation. I need to be able to play Resonance of Fate and Bullet Witch again ever since my xbox 360 died

Dubnno if I'll be up for the grinding, FPS RPGs might not be in my area, but I managed to put up with Diablo 3 and Warframe, so it could be good.

Sawaki Takeyasu is returning to make a (sorta) sequel to El Shaddai called "The Lost Child" for the PS4 and Vita.

This time around it's a Turn Based JRPG, only Lucifel is confirmed to be returning from El Shaddai.

Pokemon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon coming to Nintendo 3DS November 17, 2017

Pokken Tournament DX has been revealed for Nintendo Switch.
And Pokemon Gold And Silver coming to the 3DS Virtual Console on September 22 and will have Pokemon Bank support.
Get hyped.

Soul/Heart are so much better than the originals.

I might pick up Pokken eventually just so I have a good fighting game to play on the go.

Yyyyup, it's gonna take some real hard stuff if they are gonna tie skull up. None of this limp wristed pseudo S&M, they are gonna need to really whip out all the best they got. Going to need to really wax on about their good qualities, you know what I mean, really pour on all the hot details of their system if they expect to chain down a large cynic like skull.

EDIT: matter of fact, maybe they can't do it the normal way, maybe they are going to have to get clever, do it Trojan style. Yeah, break out the wooden horse, and then slip in the well guarded hole when the time is right
