But, in the case of English, when you think "snake" your range of thought goes from harmless grass snake to a king cobra to an andaconda/python.
Serpent might bring in mind those, but sea serpent certainly shouldn't, which is what (IIRC) Jormungandr is most known as in English.
Ehh, I like most of the harem girls in Campione, but the harem itself just gets tiresome after a while. Seriously.
Liliana and Yuri <3, though.
Fine, fine, they're not mundane snakes so we should call them serpents, we get it, mate. But it's just not something making a fuss over. xD
And no one said it had to stick to the sources, Lyco. That's also part of what makes it a work of fiction, y'know. Not to mention that it's pretty much hinted at in-story that the magic organizations in Campione purposely hide and alter information about deities in hopes of containing the birth of Heretic Gods, so there's that.
I still cannot for the life of me comprehend why the artistic license interpretations in Campione bother you so much compared to Fate's.
Fair enough, but it has an obligation to make those scenes so you can't really blame it for that. I also see you forgot to mention Ena's name but yeah Yuri and Liliana (especially her) are hilarious.
I also think it's because Lycodrake doesn't think Fate tries to be accurate at all and takes it as a pure fantasy while Campione seems to attempt to make sense of the mythos.
Teasing the Penguin God!
Naaaah~, I don't blame the series for delivering what's expected out of one of its secondary genres.
Ena is funny, but I really really like Yuri and Liliana. They both have really endearing moments, and also pretty funny ones.
Liliana's delusions and novels. x3
Well, that's just silly. No one said Campione was a mythological treaty or official work, there's no reason to diss it as such when it's not anything more than fantasy fiction.

I really don't see where you got this from. Just cause in-universe the characters treat those things as facts, doesn't mean the author promotes them as true.
It's clear he did some research, and then put his own twists and made up his own in-universe details to things, but no one ever said it was supposed to be taken as an an academical work. xD
All together manga or just what I've rewritten to date? I lost quite a bit, atm I've managed to rewrite most of the prologue but plot wise it's finished all the way through to the epilogue dealing with the moon cell, Merlin and the fight with Kojiro
that was the plan, it's just that this particular side bit happens at about the mid point of chapter one. so it's a point of semantics with this in particular

it is my firm belief that regarding the ban of mike1984 I have been given insufficient reason for the affair and it's conclusion, further than this I feel that the light manner it has been treated in is appalling. It is my sincere hope that he is not regarded in the same way as actually malicious posters who have appeared on beast's lair or otherwise as a joke to be snickered at when spoken of in the future. I will not forget my friend or view him in the manner those in charge here have presented him and his actions, nor will I accept the situation as it stands where people snicker at him as if he were a joke.
