A while ago he tweeted what he planned on working on this year. The only ones left are Baccano, SF 5, and a Durarara x Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens crossover (order wasn't decided yet).
There was supposed to be online releases of Bleach sometime in the fall and Baccano was supposed to be released in November, but looks like it's going to be delayed due to health problems. Baccano isn't on the release list for November or December.

There are only four novel volumes released so far (all fully translated, check the op), and vol 4 seems to cover day 2 entirely

summary: Narita got some tests done because of joint pain and inflammation and turns out his antibody count is elevated to the point that he might have cancer (myeloma) but given the lack of conclusive corroborating signs there are a lot of other things to rule out first. Might just be infection

he's getting his first PET scan
You can look up what a PET scan is for but basically it looks at the body's metabolism and it's something you do to check for metastasis of cancer. Can also check for inflammatory response to help diagnose infectious diseases.
