You can look up what a PET scan is for but basically it looks at the body's metabolism and it's something you do to check for metastasis of cancer. Can also check for inflammatory response to help diagnose infectious diseases.

Need his patient history chart so I can draw a guess and what to do with it.

But for now, it must be the overwork from writing too many light novels at the same time. Maybe counting the smoking habits if he has one to alleviate the stress, it can exacerbate his situation instead.
