Well Naritas works are generally driven by the characters, so i dont see how the overarching plot not going anywhere is such a bad thing there.Actually i think a big plot and clear antagonist would hurt his works.

Berserkers are servant who were sane for most of their lives, and insane for a while. But Jack the Ripper was the reverse, insane for most of his life and rarely sound of mind. So when he is summoned as Berserker it's reversed, or something like that IIRC.

I've been interested in seeing more of Flat, Enkidu and not-Hassan for a while now, but giving Caster's Master an actual name and a cool design has piqued my interest in his magi team sub-plot.

As much as I've enjoyed Apocrypha and the Fate/Prototype prequel, this is shaping up to be the Fate side project I'm most excited to see. I've always loved the pitch and felt it was such a shame to end up as an April Fool's orphan.

Well, what he said. That phenomenon is also mentioned almost word for word in the strange fake novel.

So I can now conclude that Berserker in fate/strange fake will either become the strongest Berserker class Servant in the Nasuverse or he will end up being the weakest, depending on his skills and past.

But then again, the past can enable him to not use the full abilities just because he wanted to find what his real name is. Just like in the case of Tamamo - no - mae who is supposed to be goddess tier on the level of Archetype - Earth but purposely made herself a Servant for the sake of being a good wife.

Here's the thing I was talking about a while a go. Berserker Jack and Assassin Jack are different existences, one is "the symbol of the madness." So like the paranoia that anyone could be Jack. While the other is "the grudge of the tens of thousands abandoned children." So if you summon Jack as a Berserker you get the strange fake Jack, if you summon an Assassin you get Loli-Jack.
