Should the poll subforum return

They're not returning, it's that simple. As long as everyone actually acts like adults and doesn't flood GD with crappy polls, there isn't exactly a problem, is there?

Make a dedicated poll subforum and completely lock it down so that nobody can post in it, ever. Would be hilarious.

Or wait, wait. Next April Fools rename every single forum Polls and make it so that every topic has the poll symbol next to it even if it's not a poll, that's even better.

Hey, Mcjon; remember when we had a discussion about a polls subforum a week or two ago, during the time when the GD was flooded with dozens of polls ( some of which were made by food ), and you said that it doesn't matter whether the polls are spam shit or sources of constructive discussion, because the mods had already made their decision beforehand and any result regarding the polls would just be interpreted to justify their decision?

I was a fool. I should have used that Akiha doll as leverage to manipulate you into giving us a Polls subforum/subsection in the GD.

Closing this topic, as there's little to no point to it continuing to exist. The people who bothered to vote for it made their voices clear, but the simple fact is that nobody's presented a strong reason other than "there won't be polls crapping up GD" or "It's better organization," which isn't a problem as long as... people don't make tons of polls in a short period of time to crap up GD.
