There's a paragraph-long oneshot by misheard somewhere.
You bring it up in a frequented thread like fic ideas or rec where people can see it, or you start a thread specifically for finding obscure fics if there isn't already one.
You can certainly search by title, but vBulletin isn't anywhere near robust enough to try to search by concept. You could try adding some key words to your search and see what turns up, though.
Failing that, like others have said, run a post in the Fic Request topic or maybe even make a blog entry on it?
