    Technically, wouldn't Precia's superiors have gotten her to create Fate at some point anyway? The project was a precursor to individuals like Erio, the cyborgs and eventually Vivio if I remember it right.

    Yes, the project would continue. But the Fate we know wouldn't be born, since Precia would use Alicia's DNA to make her, after the incident.
    The name may be Fate too, since it was also the project's name, but i'm sure it would be another person, with another appearance, named Fate but without the Testarossa surname.
    That's is if fraggle doesn't have any other plans for her and go with this...

    Wasn't there also a story snippet by you where Shirou somehow ends up in Precia's time and helps raise Alicia Testarossa? I remember Linith was in it as well.
