Gin no Saji (Silver Spoon) - Have fun with agriculture!

I love this manga, so I thought we can have more people talk about this anime.
Great story, great comedy, great romance.
    An agriculture high school!
    Good fun!
    Just watch me.

I honestly don't think I'd like this series as much if I hadn't played every Harvest Moon game there is. I've brainwashed myself into thinking FARMING IS FUN.

I really do like the ED though.

I haven't read the manga beyond baseball tournament story, gotta catch up soon. Gin no Saji is very relaxing and somewhat feels nostalgic to me (grandpa's farm was not big, though). Liking the first episode, can't wait to see Tamako's slim mode .

I wonder if Arakawa made this after FMA because they realized they wouldn't be able to top that sci-fi/fantasy (seriously, what exactly does a series based on alchemy fall under?) work, so they shifted genres to something else.

This series is superior to FMA for me because it has all the things I love. Like farming and... farming. And even though I love farming, it also has something I love even more: farming. So yeah.

Arakawa does what she wants, and she wanted to do something based on farming from her childhood.|

Im not complaining because I love her artstyle.

Watched the first episode, haven't read the manga, liked it. Sets up quite a lot of things and the humour seems okay, will definitely watch more.

Hoo boy...with papa Hachiken coming to campus, things are gonna be tense. I'm really looking forward to how he reacts to Hachiken.

This show is great. It's a nice twist on most high school SoL anime, and it has an amazing blend of heartwarming and funny moments.

Hachiken's dad is starting to grow on me. He's very strict, but he does acknowledge growth and is willing to recognize significant achievements. And seeing him cow the campus residents was as funny as Mikage choosing a fast food restaurant for White Day.

I really liked how much focus they put on the horseriding lately, because horseriding is great and unlike farming or baseball its something i have experience on and am good at.
